100 days left...
... in the campaign for President that is! We have some great information sources on presidential (and other) elections past and present. In hardcopy in our reference collection we have:
- America Votes, REF JK 1967 .A8, 1956-date: stats on elections for president, house, senate...
- America at the Polls, 1960-2000, REF JK 524 .A73: more detailed presidential election stats, including for each county.
- Guide to U.S. Elections, REF JK 1967 .C662: ever wondered what the "electoral college" really is? This 2 volume set has an excellent introduction to it!
In addition to articles from newspapers, magazines and journals in our online databases, a great source for news about politics at the federal level is Politico.com.

New site design for Academic Search...
As mentioned in an earlier post, all the databases we get from Ebsco, which is a long list, including such resources as Academic Search, Education Research and PsychInfo are now displaying in a VERY different web site design. It actually looks like a real improvement in many ways, but it is quite different. Please let us know of any comments or questions you have, either by posting here, or chatting with one of us.
