Birding, or birdwatching

If you don't know it, this area is an excellent region for bird watching. With Lake Ontario to our north, and a number of major migration routes thru here, for waterfowl, song birds, and birds of prey, there's lots to see. If you want to learn more, an excellent resource is the Rochester Birding Association.

The library subscribes to Cornell University's Birds of North America, and we have a number of bird guides and other books about birding in our collection.
