While enough of us are at Drake to be open and provide regular services, a number of our librarians are at the annual SUNY librarian's meeting, SUNYLA 2009, held this year at Onondaga Community College near Syracuse.Several librarians are presenting this year, as well as one of our IT staff: Charlie Cowling on "LibGuides," our new research guides site; Jennifer Smathers, Logan Rath and Alicia Girvin on our new online ordering system; Logan Rath on using text messaging for "virtual reference;" Pat Maxwell, poster presentation on using portable barcode readers, and Jennifer Little with a poster on "Blended Planning."
