Census & the Super Bowl

Apparently the big faceoff this year isn't between the Saints and the Colts, it's the US Census vs Doritos, lol. The Census site does have a 2010 Census page, with lots of information about the upcoming census (including that ad, pictured here.) Whatever the merits of the debate, whether the money spent on the ad was a good idea or not, for researchers the Census site provides a wealth of statistical information and reports on our nation. It covers all sorts of things, not just simply how many people there. There is also a business census that is quite informative.
