Tick tock, tick tock...

Goes the National Debt Clock... Or clocks rather, there are several "clocks" online displaying US national debt figures. Here is one at this link. The U.S. government has sites that track the public debt, here is a FAQ that explains things a little, and gives links to government data. These sites are mostly just numbers of course. If you wanted some narrative explanation or commentary on the national debt you might start with Business Source Complete for articles from journals, magazines and newspapers.
