How many books can I have out? Can I renew them online?

We often get asked questions like this, and you can easily find the answers by going into your library account in the catalog. Oh, in case you were wondering, undergrads can have up to forty books out at any given time, grad students eighty. You can see all the borrowing policies here. If a book you want is currently out, you can put a hold on it in the catalog, or request we get it through interlibrary loan.

Hmm, that's funny, because we actually have the largest book collection among the SUNY 4 year colleges, 500,000 at last count :-) But if we lack in an area you're interested in, let us know, so we can improve it!
