We admit, we hadn't previously thought of the Census in connection with the holidays, lol, but we'll let the Census speak for itself: The holiday season is a time for gathering and celebrating with friends and family, gift-giving, reflection and thanks. To commemorate this time of year, the U.S. Census Bureau presents the following holiday-related facts and figures from its data collection.
Among other things we are told that there are apparently over 155,000 clothing stores alone in the country, let alone the 29,000 gift & novelty shops, so no excuses now for not being able to find something for that special someone!
