Statistics on, well, you name it!

The federal and state governments collect and publish online a vast array of statistical resources, something very useful to the researcher for whom finding statistics is often one of the more difficult parts of research. Our library guide to the U.S. Government, and our guide to NY State will give you an introduction to the resources they have available. Other sources of statistics can be in various reference sources, encyclopedias and the like, and sometimes a good article on a topic will help with those statistics you need too.
