We're not quite sure what all this is about, not having the advantage of knowing Portuguese, but it seemed like a fun thing for a Friday! In a library news feed we saw a brief English language translation of a Brazilian news item: “Sarah is a librarian of INES-National Institute of Deaf Education. I’m a librarian at UFRJ. We married and decided to make the official photos in two libraries. The first, the Royal Portuguese Reading. The second, the Library Technology Center of UFRJ. Both in Rio de Janeiro.” [translated from Portuguese]
We couldn't help but think that the photos of the Royal Portuguese Reading (Room?) could provide some great ideas for future library renovations at Drake ;-)
