Where the librarians are...

Some staff will still be around this week, for example our capable library assistants, but many of the librarians will be away. It's summer, conference time, and some of us are going to the SUNY librarian's association conference this week. It's being held at the SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan and there are many intriguing programs being held, and some folks from Drake are presenting as well. For example, Kim Myers is presenting on the new Digital Commons, and Pam O'Sullivan and Wendy Prince are presenting on some of the display work that has so enlivened the library this last year, the John Adams display being a prominent example. Your blogger is going to be at the NY Archives Conference this week, and we all hope to bring back lots of good experience and knowledge to continue making Drake a great library for you!
