While typical questions we get here have to do with finding articles, books, statistics and so on, the sort of thing you might expect, we do occasionally get other sorts of questions, and being the service minded folk we are, do our best to help. Recently someone needed to make a copy of their fingerprint so they could refer to the "distinctive points" of their fingerprint for a homework assignment. Resourceful librarian Wendy Prince helped by making available an ink pad from the circulation desk, then they rolled the patron's print on a sheet of paper, scanned the paper, and next printed it out, thus providing the patron with just what they needed! Just another busy evening at the library...
