Don't be shy...

Sometimes research can be a little tricky and it doesn't hurt to ask for help. Just today for example someone was researching an Indian folk dance, and needed not only articles on contemporary performers and so on, but also articles that dealt with the historical aspects of the dance. Some of the "usual suspects" had been investigated, like Academic Search Complete and others, and some progress made, but not enough was being discovered. The librarian suggested some other sources, including Project Muse, a large humanities article database. This was found to have quite a few articles that looked helpful, more than in JSTOR. So don't be shy, ask for help, there may be other resources out there you weren't aware of  :-)
