Yesterday evening the recently formed
Friends of Drake Library held their first official event, a dinner and movie night. The dinner was held on the library lawn by the Special Olympics fountain, and the movie was held inside in the Kiefer Room. (A rare screening of one of the few Mary Jane Holmes novels to be made a movie,
The Sin of Lena Rivers, 1932.) Shown here are some of the over forty attendees, a great evening was had by all!
