Reading for fun

This blogger had been working for a couple of hours on an article, and wishing to take a break from staring at the computer monitor to a walk about the library. On the top floor he encountered a student who seemed a bit lost, and asked if she needed help. She replied that she was looking for books to read for fun, but wasn't sure where to look.

The answer he gave her was that in part it depended on what one finds fun, but that our fiction collection was straight ahead, and then downstairs in the area opposite the cafe we have a leisure reading paperback collection.

Do take a break sometime and just wander the top floor for fun. Walk through the E185 section and see something of what we have to offer on African American history. Try something outside your major, if you're an English major and often use the PS area, take a look around in the ML section where our music books are. Do a little armchair travel, walk through the DS section and look at some of the old travel books on the Middle East, the possibilities are endless. Pick up a few books to read just for your own personal pleasure!
