Broken flip flop

We get all sorts of questions, even in the summer time. No matter what it is, you're always welcome to ask one of us for help! And yes, one of our librarians was asked about mending a broken flip flop. According to the note the librarian, Jennifer Smathers, wrote in our question log,  

We found some packing tape. It wasn't working too well for her, I asked to see where it was broken, figured out a rubber band could go through the hole in the bottom to secure the strap, and that seemed to work well.
