1930s home movies of Brockport

The college archives has an hour or so of home movies of Brockport Normal from the early 1930s. The footage was shot by an eight grade student in the "campus school," Emmett Costich, using his father's movie camera.

We are in the process of making this footage available in digital form. Here is a preliminary clip, showing Charles Cooper (L) and Charles Perry (R), cooking at a school picnic. Cooper directed the teacher training program and Perry was an education professor. Cooper and Perry Halls are named after these two gentlemen.
