Art Index, who needs it?

Actually, you might, if you were researching an art related topic. It's one of our few remaining print indexes, and it does still see some use. Your blogger just placed a few volumes from the 1970s back on the shelves this morning. Our run of Art Index goes from 1929 to the present, in our reference collection on the main floor, REF N1 .A7. Even though a lot of art literature is covered in sites like Academic Search, JSTOR and others, Art Index is still a useful tool when doing a thorough art literature search. Some things just never go out of style!
