Primary sources, where are they?

Primary sources are all around really, in many locations; books people wrote about their experiences that you can find in our catalog, websites that have letters, diaries and so on. The trick of course is to finding these items. Our history and primary sources guides should be some help on this.

Interestingly enough, this topic came up today. Someone was looking for primary sources on nurses in the Vietnam War, and while they were bring helped with this, your blogger was at a meeting where he was given information about a young woman from Orleans County, a Brockport grad, who served as a nurse in the Spanish American War!
