Major upgrade to Thomas.gov!

Thomas.gov is the web site run by the Library of Congress to make available legislative information of all sorts, the text of laws, committee hearings and so on. For anyone doing legislative or legal research at the federal level it has long been a vital resource. A new site has been launched in beta version however, Congress.gov. The new site will, over the next year, come to include everything now in Thomas, and much more as well. Some of the new content includes more flexible search capability, member of Congress profiles, videos explaining the legislative process, live video of the sessions etc. This "about" page will explain in detail what is on the new site, and there is a link to a table describing what content is on Thomas, and on Congress.gov.
