Scientists convicted of manslaughter?

There are many news reports out the last few days about the Italian scientists who were convicted of manslaughter for failing to accurately predict an earthquake (the L'Aquila quake of 2009.) CNN, BBC, and many others have articles on this, and yes, you can easily find them via Google. You could find quite a bit more through the library article databases however, if you were researching the issue. Articles on both the earthquake itself, the trial, the legal and scientific implications could be found in databases like Lexis (law, news,) ScienceDirect and GeoRef (science) etc.
